Friday's Rockin' Roundup - March Madness of Concerts Edition

As most of the regulars know by now, your cousin Ryo loves attending live concerts. This month I will be attending 5 live shows, beginning tonight with Nickelback, Seether, and Saving Able. During the month of March I will also be seeing Theory of a Deadman (their own headlining set); Motley Crue with Hinder and Theory; Buckcherry, Papa Roach, and Rev Theory; and Fleetwood Mac on March 21st. That’s a lot of concerts for one month. For me, it’s the March Madness of concerts. Of course you can expect a full review of each show from the pre-concert happenings all the way to the post show wrap. All of it will be up on the concerts page.

Speaking of which, have you checked the new pages? If not, note them on the left. There’s one for Popular Posts, one for Websites Worth Visiting, and one for all of my Concert Reviews. Enjoy!

Dave Matthews Band have totally revamped their home page with a new look, new features, and a complete web makeover. And the best part of their new site is the ability to play their entire catalog on your computer. That’s right. Every song from every album (including the live ones) can be played from their website. I am like a kid in a candy store.

Not to be outdone, U2 also revamped their site with a complete makeover based on their new disc that was released this week. You can hear the new disc in its entirety on their website, and if you join the fan club, you can listen to every disc they’ve ever released.

Phish is giving away some freebies starting Monday. They are taping all 3 of their Hampton, VA shows, the first from their reunion and offering them for a limited time at no charge via MP3. Be sure to log in and grab them!

And finally, the dates are official. Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction have announced their first tour dates. More to follow, but these are the ones that kick it off. Let’s hope the price is relatively inexpensive.
