And as the 00s come to a close, the rock sites have spoken. Collecting their favorite songs, albums, artists, one-hit wonders, and more of the decade, the blogosphere is alive with compilations of the 00s. I’ve decided to round up a few that I enjoyed. The Rock and Roll Guru will not be rounding up the best of anything from this past decade, but my top 10 albums of 2009 will be posted a little later this month. Be on the lookout for it. One Hit Wonders
Billboard.com has their One Hit Wonders of the decade. It’s fun remembering some of these songs that were so huge for a while. My only objection is that Hinder is NOT a one hit wonder. It just happens that Lips Of An Angel was a HUGE song.

The Readers Choice
Rolling Stone has posted their end of the decade reader’s poll. It looks like Green Day was the fan favorite, but there are lots of other delicious gems in here.
