New Music Monday Featuring Paleo, The Gaslight Anthem, and James Leg

Welcome to another edition of New Music Monday where your cousin Ryo offers up some new tunes to help you get past the Monday blahs.

Paleo – In The Movies
First up for this edition of New Music Monday is the latest from Paleo. Following his incredible A View Of The Sky, Paleo is set to release a new CD on June 21st titled Fruit Of The Spirit. The first single, “In The Movies” can be obtained now by clicking the link below. A toe-tapping, happier tune, “In The Movies” is a fun song that is undoubtedly Paleo. Short, quick, and bursting with energy, “In The Movies” is a nice sample of what’s to come from this indie genius.

The Gaslight Anthem – American Slang
All right, so technically, this isn’t a “new” single, but The Gaslight Anthem is a band that I have really been enjoying lately. This is the lead track from their latest album of the same name. American Slang is a record that I highly recommend you go out and own. You will not be disappointed.

James Leg – Drowning In Fire
Best described as the reincarnation of Louis Armstrong singing the blues, James Leg is an entertaining artist that sings the blues with the best of the modern day artists. He recently performed all the keyboard work on Left Lane Cruiser’s Junkyard Speedball and will be releasing his own solo album in the near future. “Drowning In Fire” is the first single from the forthcoming Solitary Pleasure which is out on April 5th. Check out the single below.
