Platinum selling group O.A.R. will kick off a 21 city tour this summer bringing their high energy live show to amphitheaters across the country in support of their forthcoming seventh studio album. The tour will kick off in Milwaukee, WI on July 6th at Milwaukee’s Summerfest and run through mid-August including stops at PNC Bank Arts Center, Bank of America Pavilion, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Merriweather Post Pavilion. "Going out on the road during the summer has been a tradition for us as much as it has been for our audience,” says lead singer Marc Roberge. “With so many new songs and arrangements to choose from the show will be fresh every night, in every city, which makes it a lot of fun for us. That same feeling of excitement I had our first summer out just comes right back in an instant.”
The band will also join the Dave Matthews Band Caravan at Bader Field in Atlantic City, NJ as well as at Lakeside in Chicago, IL along with David Gray, Ray LaMontagne and The Flaming Lips. The DMB Caravan will take place in Atlantic City on June 24th through the 26th and the Chicago Caravan will be July 8th to 10th.
O.A.R. will also be offering a limited number of O.A.R. V.I.P. Party Packages at select shows on the Summer Tour. The packages provide the option of premium reserved seats or General Admission lawn tickets (subject to venue availability) as well as exclusive perks including access to a V.I.P. only party lounge, a special limited edition autographed tour poster, priority venue entry, merchandise discounts and a free live recording of the show attended.
During the tour, fans will not only be treated to O.A.R. favorites like the smash hits “Shattered,” “This Town,” “Love and Memories,” and “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker” but they will also get to hear brand new music from the band’s forthcoming album.
