Hinder Announces Campaign For New Album

PledgeMusic is thrilled to announce a new pre-order with Hinder, the five-piece American hard rock band from Oklahoma City. Their soon-to-be-released fifth full-length album, When The Smoke Clears, is coming out on The End Records on May 12th. It will be their first with new lead singer Marshall Dutton, who has been a co-writer/producer for the band since 2009. Hinder was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

Fans can order once-in-a-lifetime opportunities such as a Go-Kart experience and a bar crawling outing with the band. They're also offering one of two signed and road used electric guitars, and an opportunity to assume the professional role of Hinder's tour manager for a day. To pledge support please visit:

RYO’S NOTE: I do not want to pass judgment on something I have not heard yet. I have not listened to any song by Hinder with their new lead singer, Marshall Dutton, so I do not know if it rocks. However, Austin Winkler is a hard voice to replace. I was a huge fan of Hinder, even enjoying their final album with Winkler, Welcome To The Freakshow, when most fans panned it. For Hinder, it is almost like they are starting over. That’s not quite fair to the band, but fans are not as forgiving when a new lead singer takes over. While I only wish them the best, Hinder does have an uphill battle in their future.
