Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band - Giants Stadium Setlist 10/2/09 & 10/3/09

The Mrs. and I went to see the Boss on Friday at Giants Stadium for one of the final concerts there. The show was amazing and is easily in my top 5 of Springsteen shows. The classics were played. The energy level was up and Bruce was very demanding the crowd. It was electrifying. He even performed an on the spot cover of Jailhouse Rock. That was very impressive. Then, of course, there was the performance of Darkness on the Edge of Town in its entirety. It renewed my love for full albums and it was inspiring to see in concert. Simply breathtaking.

Saturday night brought Born In The USA in its entirety. Kitty’s Back and Detroit Medley completed the rarities delivered that night. What I liked most about Saturday’s setlist is seeing Thunder Road as the very last song in the encore. That is a great way to end the night.
